Spa Excess Every Friday

Spa Excess “Deep, Dark, and Naked” (8pm-4am)

Free for TNT members! Every Friday night Spa Excess has an event called “Deep, Dark, and Naked”. The deep refers to the music played from midnight to 4am (deep house), the dark refers to the fact that they cover the hall lights on the top 2 floors with red foil. The naked is obvious. They encourage all customers to be nude, “because as you know, naked is beautiful (and better with erections).”

To encourage more nudity on Friday nights, Excess is offering a special for all TNT members. From 8pm to 4am on Friday nights, if you show your membership card, Excess will provide a free locker (value $12). The $5 refundable key deposit still applies.

In return, you agree to promote nudism and body acceptance during your visit by simply staying naked throughout the evening, including the fully licenced bar-lounge. Please don't wear your towel, as this defeats the purpose of this extended membership benefit.

This is not an official TNT!MEN event, but rather a very generous offer by Robert Knight, co-owner of Spa Excess and Pegasus, who is a longtime friend, supporter, and member of TNT.

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

7:30pm-9:30pm: TNT Book Club

The TNT book club meets on the second Thursday of the month in the St. Lawrence market area. Don't worry if you haven't read the book; the main focus of the evening is social. The group chooses a new book every month; they've mostly been gay fiction so far, but that may change. Typically between 5 and 10 men attend. A great way to spend a naked evening.

8:30pm-10pm: TNT Nude Swim

"Swimming with TNT!MEN reminded me of swimming at high school and university -- a tank full of naked guys!"

Our monthly naked swim is on the 2nd Tuesday, in a heated 25 metre city pool. Social and friendly, open to all naked men. Members $4, others $6, or join and get in free!

The water is pleasantly warm. The lockers are coin-operated, and use a quarter, which you get back. The pool offers towels for rent for a small donation. Soap and shampoo are available free.

10pm: Naked Night at the Black Eagle

On the third Thursday of every month, starting at 10pm, the Black Eagle offers free clothing-check (on the second floor) to everyone who gets naked. There is no cover-charge; admission is free.

These are clothing-optional events, so there will be some men fully dressed, but you can bet a lot of them will be willing to get at least partially naked if you give them some encouragement, or maybe a little beer...

4pm–8:30pm: TNT Naked Retro Dance at Alibi

TNT is proud to be hosting the hottest party in the city! Come join our monthly naked dance at Alibi, the fabulous club on Yonge St at Maitland. It's on the last Saturday of the month, from 4 to 8:30pm. With two floors, three bars, and a maze, these are very popular events!

Members $5, all others welcome $8, or free with $20 new membership.

Sunday, August 26th, 2007: Starts up in September, on the last Sunday of the month

7:00pm: TNT Life Drawing with David T. starts NEXT MONTH, on the last Sunday each month.

Do you draw? Would you like to? Why do you think you can't? And how much creativity do you think you would free up answering all of the above in a room full of naked men? Drawing opens up places in the mind that we keep shut down most of our waking lives. It connects eye, mind, and hand in new ways. It helps us look at the world afresh, and more intensely. It's about process and being in the moment, not about judging the product.

What happens when the artist becomes the model and vice-versa? Do they goad each other into striking uninhibited poses? Devour each other with their eyes? Try reciprocal life-drawing and find out why a stick-man requires an extra line when he's naked! Whether you're a skilled artist, or can barely hold a crayon, this event is for you.
