even when they get bogged down in business, they are never completely dull!
Art Attack! Thursday 11 December, 8 to
11pm
An eccentric evening with two frivolous activities:
- Revenge of the Models: what happens when the artist becomes
the model and vice versa? Do they goad each other into striking uninhibited
poses? Devour each other with their eyes? Try reciprocal life-drawing and
find out why a stick-man requires an extra line when he's naked!
- Living Sculptures: in this naked party game, men are the clay,
molded by the warm hands of the blind-folded sculptor who must replicate
the positions of the nude models. Your mother would not approve!

This was a LOT of fun! I have no
experience or training in life drawing, but we started out with very
quick 30-second exercises to loosen up, and gradually stretched it out
to 5 and 10 minute periods. We took turns being the model, and some
of the resulting sketches are quite interesting. Expect to see a few
of them in the upcoming newsletter.
Even more fun was the
"sculpting": it's quite tough to do it, actually, but is a lot of fun.
Since both the
"clay" and the sculptor are blind-folded, it can be quite challenging
to duplicate the position of the model without speaking. Eventually
we started doing it with two models and two pieces of clay, which was
complicated and silly, especially for the models who were aiming for
intricate and fun poses. The ten of us really enjoyed it, and I hope
that Peter arranges another one soon!

A social night in Muther's,
the guest-house above the Toolbox.
Sandwiches, finger food, snacks, pop, coffee provided. BYOB, or purchase
drinks from the bar. Bring your own towel; showers available. Admission

events, and at the Toolbox. If you've got your own room
at Muthers, admission is free!

Thank you Bert for helping with the door. It was
well-attended, some new members and new faces. We had several rooms,
one just for the clothes. Clay from the bar came
up to join us. Like last time, the Toolbox provided
sandwiches, cheese and vegetables.
We had an added feature this
time: Jeff the bartender invited us to use the bar naked! People were
going to the bar for drinks and wandering around naked downstairs. It
was great. He also sent people upstairs to check us out. We soon had
more people at our party than downstairs. I am planning on doing this
again soon.
Exhibitionism at the O'Connor

The O'Connor Gallery is hosting another naked exhibition for us, this
time featuring the work of James Huctwith in a show called "Key to
the City". Come join us for a fun evening of wine, cheese, and great
art! If we are lucky, the artist himself may be on hand to discuss his
work with us. Given how close we are getting to Christmas, this would be
the perfect time to pick up that special little something. And remember,

TNT!MEN Nude Swim: Tuesday 23 Dec, 8:30-10

It's the only way to swim! We are pleased to announce a monthly nude
swim on the fourth Tuesday of each month. We reserve some lanes
for lap swimming at first, and then play some games to break the "ice".
