7:30pm-9:30pm: TNT Book Club |
|
The TNT book club meets on the second Thursday of the month
in the St. Lawrence market area. Don't worry if you haven't read
the book; the main focus of the evening is social. The
group chooses a new book every month; they've mostly been
gay fiction so far, but that may change. Typically between
5 and 10 men attend. A great way to spend a naked
evening. TNT members $4, others welcome $6. Contact Clifford at for instructions and location. |

6pm-9:30pm: TNT Nude Dance at George's Play |
| Now on the Sunday of every month, come get naked and
dance your ass off at George's Play, a great dance and
neighbourhood bar in the heart of the gay village. The DJ
plays a very upbeat and dance-able mix of tunes. Numbers
range from 120 to 150 typically, more on special occassions,
with a great mix of men of all ages, races, shapes and sizes.
All are welcome, though the volume and music selection tends
to appeal more to the younger fellas. Admission is $5 for
members, $8 for everyone else, unless you join TNT ($20
annual fee), in which case you get in for free! George's Play, 504 Church Street, just north of Alexander, a short walk from College subway station [MAP] |

8:30pm-10pm: TNT Nude Swim |
| "Swimming with TNT!MEN reminded me of swimming at high
school and university -- a tank full of naked
guys!" We hold our monthly swim on the 2nd Tuesday, in a heated 25 metre city pool. Social and friendly, open to all naked men. Members $4, others $6, or join and get in free! The water is pleasantly warm. The lockers are coin-operated, and use a quarter, which you get back. The pool offers towels for rent for a small donation. Soap and shampoo are available free. Harrison Pool, 15 Stephanie Street, north of Queen, west off McCaul, a short walk from Osgoode subway station [MAP] |

10pm: Naked Night at the Black Eagle |
|
On the third Thursday of every month, starting at 10pm, the Black Eagle offers free clothing-check (on the second floor) to everyone who gets naked. There is no cover-charge; admission is free. These are clothing-optional events, so there will be some men fully dressed, but you can bet a lot of them will be willing to get at least partially naked if you give them some encouragement, or maybe a little beer... Black Eagle, 457 Church St, south of Maitland. |

8pm to 11pm: Digital Twist: New Works on Nakedness by Johannes Zits 8pm to 11pm: Naked Reception at Spin Gallery |
|
The exhibition celebrates the naked body in a series of images downloaded from the internet and then digitally manipulated. The work presents people and situations that question shame, guilt and social decorum. Attention seekers, free spirits, and those championing a clothing-free alternative are captured in scenarios ranging from the titillating to the celebratory and the ordinary to the weird. The environments surrounding these naked bodies (all public spaces) have been distorted by multiple layers of exaggerated pixilation and squares of pure colour. Traditional media representations use digitization to censor or deface the naked body. My digital images keep the body intact while distorting and obscuring everything else. The intent is to emphasize the subversive act and encourage critical thinking about the free will of the individuals with respect to their body within a rigid social frame. This show also depends on the idea of sharing. The performers and the photographer have all donated their time and effort in order to make this event happen. Even the way information is shared on the internet shaped how this exhibition has been conceived. Says Zits, "This is not just a party game: It also takes into consideration the relationship between the artist and his collaborators while encouraging a positive attitude towards nakedness." Please RSVP
if you want to come. |

7:00pm: TNT Life Drawing with David T. |
Do you draw? Would you like to? Why do you think you can't? And how much creativity do you think you would free up answering all of the above in a room full of naked men? Drawing opens up places in the mind that we keep shut down most of our waking lives. It connects eye, mind, and hand in new ways. It helps us look at the world afresh, and more intensely. It's about process and being in the moment, not about judging the product. What happens when the artist becomes the model and vice-versa? Do they goad each other into striking uninhibited poses? Devour each other with their eyes? Try reciprocal life-drawing and find out why a stick-man requires an extra line when he's naked! Whether you're a skilled artist, or can barely hold a crayon, this event is for you. TNT members $4, others welcome $6, plus $6 one time for life drawing expenses. In the Christie/Dupont area. For more info, and to ask if you can come, write to David T. at |

9pm-1am: Big Gay Naked Party |
|
Come join us for a very friendly nude party in the heart of the gay village. With anywhere between 30 and 80 men, these popular parties have been a hit since the year 2000. With the new naked dances, these parties are bigger and better than ever! Good think I've booked a two bedroom suite! The party is BYOB. Bring a towel to sit on and shower with, and a bag to keep your clothes in. Leave your valuables at home; we provide no security. Smoking is restricted to the balcony only. Requested donation is $10, but no-one is turned away for lack of funds.Snacks and soft drinks provided. For more info, and to ask if you can come, please write to |
