Man Scouts Gay Men's Gathering: Friday 3 to Monday 7 September

[not TNT!MEN] Here's the blurb they sent me: "You are cordially invited to attend this year's Man Scouts gathering over the Labour Day weekend. Man Scouts will again be held at the beautiful and very private Rancho Cicada Retreat in the Sierra Nevada Foothills near Plymouth, California. Rancho Cicada is a gay owned retreat on forty four acres of land with the Cosumnes river running right throughout the property. The retreat is 1 1/2 hour drive East of Sacramento, and a 2 1/4 hour drive from most of the Bay area. The retreat has room for 50 people. The cost for the three night's at the retreat, including all meals and wine tasting is $195 per person. Jack's party at The Forest: Saturday 4 September, 10 am - 8 pm

The Forest (previously known as "The Enchanted Forest") is a clothing-optional gay campground located 45 minutes north of Toronto. TNT!MEN members will get a half-priced day pass for $7.50. Jack, a long-time TNT!MEN member, will be hosting a barbeque at his campsite, #10, and is offering to serve hamburgers, salad and soft drinks at no charge between 5 and 6 pm. BYOB. Directions to The Forest:

1. Drive north on the Don Valley Parkway/404 to the end (Newmarket)
2. Turn right (east) onto Davis Drive.
3. At the first traffic lights turn left (north) onto Woodbine Ave.
4. At the first traffic lights turn right (east) onto Mount Albert.
5. Drive east for about 3-5 minutes, watch for Kennedy Road.
6. Turn left (north) onto Kennedy Road.
7. Drive north for 3.2 km - The Forest is on the right side.

 

Planning Meeting: Thursday 9 September, 7:30-10 pm

All men are welcome. All of our meetings are naked, so even when they get bogged down in business, they are never completely dull! Come share your ideas and help us make our decisions for the future. .

 

FreshWind II -- A Clothing-Optional Men's Retreat at Heartlywoods: Friday 10 to Sunday 12 September, 7 pm to 1 am

[not TNT!MEN] FreshWind II is a unique weekend for getting to know other men of all orientations. It's part of a series of gatherings that have been known for creating deep bonding and longlasting friendships. There will be mini-workshops on various topics, conducted by attendees, and an entertainment evening on Saturday night with our collected talent. The first FreshWind, last September, included two dozen fine men and was a great success, even giving rise to an ongoing "virtual men's group" on the Internet. We also expect that about half of the attendees will be from the U.S., a great opportunity for expanding your network across the border as well. "Lay-bare Party" -- Gary's Party at Muther's: Sunday 12 September, 7 pm to 1 am

Gary is hosting another one of his wonderful parties at Muther's, the guest-house above the Toolbox. Finger food, non-alcoholic beverages, and a clothes check (with someone to watch your belongings) are provided. Bar service is available downstairs. $7 for members and advance tickets, $10 for others, or free with a $15 membership or a room rental. These are well-attended parties so get your ticket early at the Toolbox or leave your name and number with Gary, either by e-mail to imgjptot@bconnex.net or by phone at 1-905-936-3533 at least four days prior to the party.

Nude Coffee Night with Norm: Thursday 16 September, 7:30 to 9 pm

Returning to an old nudist tradition, we're pleased to announce regular "meet the members" coffee nights! Norm, our newest Board member, has volunteered to host a coffee night on the third Thursday of each month, from 7:30 to 9 pm. These are chatty and fun events, a great way to get to know some other members. You can send e-mail to Norm at to ask him if you can attend. Numbers are limited. $3 members, $5 non-members, or join and get in free.

 

Naked in the Woods: A TNT!MEN Retreat and Camping Weekend: Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September

Come join us at Heartlywoods for "Naked in the Woods: A TNT!MEN weekend of camaraderie and relaxation." Relax, play, massage, eat, and sleep in a 50 acre nature reserve with a dozen or more great men. Beside good food and wonderful company, we offer many fun things to do, including opening and closing circles, games, life drawing, Twister, a massage exchange, hikes through the woods, outdoor frolicks, photo opportunities with their new digital camera (featuring instant slide shows!), and whatever other activities appeal to us. This retreat weekend is naked, so leave your clothes at home!

 

This month we are emphasizing the camping aspect. Bring your tent and set up near the house or off by yourself. We'll have a camp-fire and maybe tell ghost stories and do the usual camping things.

 

All men are welcome. Admission includes four meals and snacks throughout the weekend. For more information, contact our host Marc at or call 705-374-4987. BYOB, food provided, bring bedding, everyone helps with food preparation and cleaning up, no pets please. Rain or shine: there's plenty of indoor space to enjoy group and private activities.

Every Tuesday, the first 16 card-carrying TNT!MEN members get a free room or locker. The rest get in for half price. On the third Tuesday of every month, TNT!MEN members get their first drink at half price!

Dance Naked at the Barn: Saturday 25 September, 4-8:30 pm

Over a hundred and twenty naked men dancing to the disco beat, chatting on the deck, and having a great time! The clothes check price is included in the entrance fee. Admission $3 for members, $5 for non-members. If you join TNT!MEN ($15 for a year), you get in free! PLUS, This is our Annual General Meeting! Come share the excitement and thrills as we elect a new board! We've got some pretty amazing candidates; come cheer them on and give them your support. The fun starts between 6:30 and 7 pm and should last about 15 minutes... After that, we bring on the dancing, girls!
