Directions to Heartlywoods from Toronto
Get onto Highway 48 heading north. If you live in Scarborough, you can take Markham Road northbound. It becomes Highway 48 once you pass Sheppard Avenue. From downtown Toronto, head north on the Don Valley Parkway. It turns into Highway 404 as you pass the 401, and ends at Davis Drive. Turn eastbound on Davis Drive about 10 kms until you reach Highway 48, and then head north.Highway 48 heads mostly due north for about 47 kms, past Davis Drive, and then around Sutton it turns east, just below Lake Simcoe. After about 27 kms, Highway 48 turns north again as it joins up with Highway 12.
Continue northbound 8 kms until you reach Highway 15 at the Argyle turnoff. Go east on Highway 15. Before you pass the hamlet of Argyle, Highway 15 becomes Highway 8, also known as Glenarm Road. Go eastbound on Highway 8 for about 7 to 9 minutes, until you reach Kirkfield Road on your left. You will pass Concession Road #6, which is a dirt road.
The sign for Kirkfield Road is very small, with lettering only about 3 inches high, so you have to look very closely. Kirkfield Road is also called Victoria County Road #6, so you might want to keep your eyes open for that as well.
Note that County road #6 is paved, whereas Concession road #6 is not. Head north on Kirkfield Road. The second driveway on your left is Heartlywoods. There is a small sign in front. Trees hide the house from the road. If you get lost, call us at 705-374-4987.
Depending on traffic, the trip will probably take between 90 minutes and two hours.
