Monthly Dances Start in March

Due to the success of the TNT naked dances, George's
Play playonchurch.com at 504 Church St (just north of Timothy's), has
invited TNT to hold naked dances on the second Sunday of each month,
from 6 to 9:30pm, starting on April 9th. Hooray!
Naked Dances a Hit! (4

I'm happy to announce that our new nude venue, George's
Play playonchurch.com at 504 Church St (just north of Timothy's), has turned
out to be a great place to hold our naked dances. The DJ has been great;
at the January 1st dance I asked many different men what they thought
of the music, and not one of them complained, except to say that it was
a bit too loud. The dance floor was very busy, and we saw a lot of new
faces. The Sunday evening timeslot has attracted a new, somewhat younger
crowd in addition to our many regulars. We invite all men to join us at
these events. Admission is $5 for TNT members, $8 for everyone else, or
free with a new $20 membership. At the moment, these memberships will
last until July 2007, so it's a great time to join.
TNT Naked Dances Resume
Dec 2005!

Hooray! TNT's board has arranged our first nude dance
since May! It's happening on Sunday, Dec 11th, from 6 to 10pm.
Our new venue, going nude for the very first time, is
George's Play playonchurch.com at 504 Church St (just north of Timothy's).
We invite all men to join us. Admission is $5 for TNT
members, $8 for everyone else, or free with a new $20
membership. Don't forget, your TNT membership card gets you
a free locker every Friday at Spa Excess, so it's a fantastic
deal! Come help make this dance a huge success, so that we
can continue to enjoy this new venue.
The Barn is Closed! Pride Dance cancelled?

While out walking today I
noticed that Slack Alice was closed for business, with a
"Notice to Tenant" posted on the door citing
non-payment of rent. I then received e-mail from TNT saying
that The Barn is closed indefinitely (confirmed by The Barn's
website), and it seems doubtful that we can find an alternate
venue for our naked dance at this late date. Both
establishments are being run by the same people; my guess is
that the lost income and costs of renovating The Barn drove
them under. Stay tuned for more details!
World Naked Bike Ride 2005: Fun and Fabulous

A tradition that's been happening for many
years around the world, this annual event only reached Toronto
last year. The 2004 ride was well promoted, and thus well
attended, by cyclists and cops alike. It even featured several
women! This year there was no real organising behind the
Toronto effort, so many fewer people participated, and
unfortunately, no women. Still, a dozen or so men in various
states of undress cycled a long path through the city. We had a
great reception from most of the people we met, though there
were three men with testosterone poisoning who voiced their
objections loudly. All of the cops we met basically ignored us,
and there were a fair number of them. I took a lot of pictures,
and I've got a collection of them to view:

Back at The Barn!

After months of renovations and upgrades following a small
chimney fire, The Barn re-opened this weekend, with several big parties
on Friday and Saturday nights. They are also leaping back into the fray
with their Sunday underwear parties. Our first naked dance in ages was
combined with their first one, undies on the second floor and naked on
the third. It worked pretty well, and the naked dance was pretty well
attended, and lots of fun. We're looking forward to many more! (In response
to this news, Zipperz has decided to cancel their underwear parties.)
February Nude Dance
& Oscar Party at Slack Alice (20
Feb 2005)
While Slack Alice used to hold the "Bare As You Dare"
contests on Sunday nights a year or two back, this will be their first
all-nude event. We're starting at 5pm when the Oscar warm-up begins, and
will continue until 10pm. Members $4, everyone else welcome $8, or free
if you join.
Zipperz Cellblock
Weekly Underwear Parties Begin (20
Feb 2005)
Cellblock, the back part of Zipperz
night club, presents FLESH: Toronto's Alternative Underwear Party, every
Sunday starting on Feb 20th, 2005. From 5-10pm. They say "Strip down
to your skivvies and strut your stuff!". Admission is $5, which includes
clothes check and your first beverage. They stress: "no full-frontal
nudity!" Let's see if we can get them to change their minds, eh?

January Nude Dance

Bert writes: "Due to the recent fire at the Barn, the
reconstruction of the main areas of the Barn is taking much longer than
initially expected, mostly because of insurance involvements. Therfore
the TNT!MEN Naked Dance on Sunday January 30th from 6-10 pm IS CANCELLED."
We hope the Barn will be ready for our next nude dance on Sunday, Feb
27th, from 6-10pm.
TNT Nude Dances Change
Date and Time! (4 Jan 2005)
For the months of January and February at least, the TNT
nude dance will be shifted from the last Saturday of the month to the
last Sunday of the month, running concurrent with the popular Underwear
parties at The Barn. This is done partly as a way of attracting new members.
If it is not successful, I expect the Saturday dances will occur.
Toolbox Has Been
Sold! (23 Apr 2004)
The rumours have been circulating for a long time, and
tonight is was finally confirmed; the Toolbox has indeed been sold.
It will continue operating through the summer, until the end of August,
and they plan to make the most of the time remaining. It should be a
great summer, though we'll be sad to lose this great venue.
Toolbox Resumes
Naked Thursdays! (22 Apr 2004)
After keeping us waiting for almost 4 years, the Toolbox
has finally resumed its fabulous and very popular naked Thursday! Starting
at 10pm every week, this clothing-optional event is popular with both
the naked and the fans, with over 100 men on the warm summer nights.
There's a $5 cover, which includes the clothes check, and those who
get naked get a drink ticket too. Naked people have use of the private
facilities upstairs, including washrooms, showers, a lounge area, and
deck.
Black
Eagle Holds Monthly Naked Nights! (12 Sep 2003)
 As you may know,
the Black Eagle tried to hold their first Naked Night since August 2000
on August 14, 2003. Unfortunately, that was the night of the huge power
failure. Fortunately they were willing to try it again in September, and
it was a great success! Over 40 men got naked, and the bar was really
busy. In October, the numbers were even better: almost 60 men got naked,
and there were plenty of others coming to enjoy the view. And in November,
almost 70 men enjoyed the free clothes check, despite the cold weather
outside! They are planning on continuing monthly. Check our website or
theirs for the date. Seems to be the 2nd or the 3rd Thursday of the month.

Online (First draft) (8 July 2003)
I haven't had time to fix up the photos or mark them with
captions, but rather than making you wait, I thought I'd put up some
of what I have now so that you can see how Pride went, and I can then
update things later when I have more time. I only have the Pride parade
photos online at the moment. Pictures from the body painting, the party,
and the naked dance will follow in the next few weeks.

Global Coverage of our
Pride Victory! (26 Sep 2002)
Thanks to hard work by board member and legal genius Peter
Simm, we've managed to get the story of our victory regarding nudity
at Pride onto television, radio, newspapers and maagazines around the
world! One of my friends heard Regis and Kelly telling their audience
of our victory on Sep 24, and we got a very loud cheer. Another told
me the story made it onto an Australian youth radio station.
Crown Concedes: Nudity
at Pride is Legal! (12 Sep 2002)
Yes, it's true: nudity at Pride is legal! That's what
our fabulous Mr. Simm forced the Crown to concede earlier today. All
pending charges against the seven men arrested for public nudity at
the 2002 Pride parade have been dropped. We won!
Webmaster wins GNI Natural
Man Award (23 Aug 2002)
At the GNI Gathering this year, TNT!MEN Webmaster Spike
was proclaimed Natural Man 2002. This is GNI's highest award, in recognition
for "outstanding, long-term contribution to the growth, achievement,
and good fellowing of the gay naturist movement." It is a great
honour, and a huge surprise; I wasn't even at the gathering this year!
 Censored Seven Court
Date Delayed (7 Aug 2002)
On July 30th the Crown faxed Peter Simm and said they
need more time to "consider the position of the Crown" regarding the
charges against the men. "Although our legal research has been
completed, we require further time to consider the many 'policy' issues
that you raise in your brief. As you can appreciate, the decision of
the Crown in this particular case may have other implications in the
future." The new date is September 18th, in Courtroom 111 of Old
City Hall.
Nudists Arrested in
Pride Parade (30 June 2002)
Almost the entire group of marchers in the TNT!MEN contingent
were arrested briefly immediately following the parade. Seven men were
given a summons to appear in court before a Justice of the Peace in
August on charges of "Being Nude in a Public Place." Four
of those were taken to 52 Division before being released.
 Pride 2002 Show Your Pride Dance
(29 June 2002)
Our Saturday Show Your Pride Dance was our first nude
dance since April 2000. We celebrated our recent court victory with
over 370 men from all over the world. The crowd was very happy and extremely
friendly. We are really excited to have our dances back!

Saturday Twonie Drive (29 June 2002)
A lot has happened already, with the naked party Friday
night, the fabulous dance on Saturday, the naked guy on stage in the
evening who was almost arrested, and so on, but I'll tell the story
in order. The Twonie Drive is a Pride fundraiser to help offset the
costs of the weekend. Richard and Peter worked a shift Saturday afternoon
in extremely revealing outfits. They worked very well. Half the money
they collected goes to Pride, the other half to TNT!MEN. They both had
a lot of success, and a heck of a lot of fun!
VICTORY! Nude Bar Events
Are Legal! (26 June 2002)
Hooray! The wait as finally ended, and the judge has
spoken: nude bar events are legal! They do not violate the liquor-license
act, and there is no way they can be considered "disorderly conduct".
We are resuming our naked dance this Saturday, June 29th, from 2:30
to 8:30 p.m. All men are welcome, so please join us for this happy event!
Hanlan's Point Now Permanently
Nude! (18 Apr 2002)
As you may recall, the nude beach at Hanlan's Point was
on a three year trial basis. As of today, City Council has unanimously
decided to make the clothing-optional designation permanent!
Nude Laser Tag

The Laserquest event was great; I've never played before
and Daryl and I really enjoyed it. It was organised by the Ontario
Roaming Bares, and there were about 20 people altogether. I hope
they organise another one soon!
Life
& Style Show 2001 (16 Nov 2001)
We had fun at Xtra's Gay Life & Style show again this
year. Sandwiched between a psychic and a travel agency -- gay nudist
psychic travel?? -- we had a lot of great volunteers to help us out.
We met tons of people, though surprisingly it was the women who were

 Pride 2001 Best One Yet!

A million people clapped and cheered and whistled while
we marched totally naked in this year's Lesbian and Gay Pride parade.
We had a wonderful time, and it was our largest contingent in the parade
since we started marching back in 1996. This year we had 15 men, 14
of them naked from start to finish and beyond. Pride

Heartlywoods May Weekend
was Just Lovely (18-20 May 2001)
We had a great time at the Heartlywoods weekend! There
were about 10 of us this time. The weather was lovely for this time
