A^{naked meeting is the best way to}
deal with any business, a fact we

should point out to our bosses and

political leaders! That's how the TNT!MEN

Board conducts the affairs of the

organization, and it certainly has helped

keep the tension down and the

entertainment factor up!

Consensus

The Board has made several key decisions

since the election. General agreement on

issues is reached by consensus as far as

possible, although a vote is taken if
required on a particular topic.

Constitution

At our Launch Party on March 1st, the

initial 48 members of TNT!MENadopted a

Constitution that had been prepared by

our "Founding Fathers". Although we did

go through the Constitution, and even

amended it a little, we knew that we

would have to devote more time to this

issue in the future. Well, the future is now:

you are invited to propose constitutional

amendments for ratification at the Annual
General Meeting on Sept. 27th. We

encourage everyone to review the

Constitution, and to be at the meeting to

make your voice heard. Please direct

proposals or questions to Peter S at

368-7316. If you can't find your copy, leave

us a message on the Phoneline, or you can

Media

The Board (with Barry's help) developed

and issued a press release for the media on

our seminar "Nudity & The Law". This
resulted in an article in the current issue of

Xtra(#335 p13), which reviews the
seminar quite favourably.As usual, Xtra

got several points wrong, but was fairly

close on most of it. The accompanying

photo features a troupe of attractive young

naked men dancing, which should

certainly help draw attention to the article.

As you will remember from the last

newsletter, Peter S also wrote a letter

to the Toronto Sunexplaining why our

mostly-nude participation in Pride Day

was legal. The Sunpublished it as the

"Letter of the Day".

Affiliation with the FCN
We recently became an affiliate of the

Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN)

and we are already including them in our

events. This makes us the first gay nudist
club in Canada to achieve this status. We

also plan to lend our support to their

efforts to create a nude beach in Toronto.

These efforts are on hold until after the

mega-city elections have taken place.

Events

Perhaps the item that has preoccupied the

Board to the greatest extent has been the

issue ofEvents. Wehave several inter e s t i n g
regular events, and some good new events

coming up. We are greatly in need of

members to host small events, theme

parties, or coffee nights in their homes.

David Cameron-Goldberg is our Event

Coordinator. He'd love to hear from you at

515-0149. So dream up some great idea,

fulfill a fantasy, or just bake your favourite

cookies and invite a group of naked men

over to gobble them up! We'll help you

prepare before and clean up afterwards, so

don't worry if you haven't done it before.

Wrestling NAKED

O^{n Sunday August 13th, TNT!MEN}
co-hosted a spectacularly

successful event with NAKED

Magazine at the Barn's Underwear Party.

NAKED was in town promoting their

publications and their naked cruises. We,
of course, were promoting social nudity.

Brian McGoldrick represented

NAKED, and being tall and attractive he

made a very good impr

ession. He spoke

briefly about the magazine, and showed a

video about some of their previous cruises.

The main event was the oil wrestling.

NAKEDbrought their own wrestler, a

dark-haired Irish fellow named Kip. The

prize they offered was a naked cruise to

Belize, worth over $2,200! They would

accept five challengers for the prize, and

the first one to successfully pin Kip during

a three minute bout would win. If no-one

managed to pin Kip, then the prize would

be raffled off among the contestants.

Gorgeous young studs

Almost a hundred people crowded onto

the third floor of the Barn to watch the oil

wrestling. Many of them were new faces,

thanks to the direct mailing advertising

that NAKED had done. Some great door

prizes were available too, including

subscriptions to the magazine, copies of

their gay nude recreational guidebook,
