Getting Naked for
the First Time

by Harley Walker <harley@interlog.com>

The first time I really got naked in a
public place was on the beach at
Sandy Hook, NJ. Afriend who lives

near there is in the habit of sunning on the

beach nude. As the beach is a National

Park, it's automatically clothing optional.

All National Parks in the USA are clothing

optional I understand -- too bad we don't

have the same thing in Canada.

My friend wanted me to experience

nudity on the beach, so one sunny but

very breezy day we went. It was a great

feeling, with the wind blowing my balls

around and the sun heating up my ass.

Impressive stamina

The stretch of the beach we were on

seemed to be the gay area -- the only

woman I saw was getting screwed on a

sand dune in full view of everyone at the

entrance to the beach. No one seemed to

care or even look much. I was impressed

by the stamina of the fellow screwing her

-- he went on for ages!

That was the only sex I observed.

Even though there were quite a few gay

men around, no one was doing anything

sexual. Mainly I think because the beach is

quite open and flat, and so not conducive
to intimate trysts. Still, it was very pleas-

ant just wandering along the beach and

saying "Hi" to an occasional fellow nudist.
Wasting taxpayer money

Back here in Toronto, my other nude

venue was at Hanlan's Point near the air

field, but it wasn't anywhere near as

satisfying as Sandy Hook had been due to

the ever looming presence of the police. I

was amazed at how much time and energy

is wasted by the cops trying to find

anyone sunbathing naked. They zoom

along the beach in a Jeep, racing through

low bushes and could quite easily run

over someone quietly reading.

It's incredible to think our tax dollars
are being wasted like this. I guess it's eas-

ier for the cops than trying to run down

drug pushers or drivers running red lights

or real anti-social behaviour.

Easy to talk to

The first organized naked event I stripped

off at was one of the Toolbox naked nights

last summer. It was a lovely warm evening

and being able to strip off and enjoy the

patio outside was wonderful. It was much

easier to meet other guys too. There was

little, if any, standoffishness one usually

gets in a bar scene. Guys were much easier

to talk with and get to know. I became a
regular after that.
In the winter things were a bit differ-

ent because of course you sure couldn't go
out on the patio, but still the ease of meet-

ing other guys was there.
Partying with Ronn and Don

Then I went to the "famous" New

Year's

Eve party out in Brampton. What a fun

time that was. This is when I officially

joined the gay nude gr

oup. Since then I've

been able to get to know some very

interesting and pleasant men on many

levels. Also no one judges you regarding

age or whether or not you're in shape.

I had thought at first that the only

guys stripping off would be gym buffed 30
something year olds, but in reality there

are all ages and types. I'm in relatively

good shape but I'm in my 50's, so it was
interesting to note that there are guys obvi-

ously younger than me but not in as good

a shape! It gets me to the gym more often
now so that I can try to maintain the con-

dition I'm in. See you at the next

TNT!MEN event!
