Haulover
Beach, Florida (6 May
1998)I visited Florida this past February with my lover Peter and our friend Tom from Boston (as seen in the photo; Peter sitting, me, and Tom). Haulover is between Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. It's part of the ocean front that consists almost entirely of beautiful beaches for miles along the east coast of Florida. If you were flying overhead, it would be easy to spot: for miles in all direction you'll see beautiful beaches with only a few people scattered on it. On relatively small segment of the beach, however, will be very crowded every day of the week. That part is Haulover Beach.
The beach was great, and we met a number of people that we knew from
previous naked gatherings and even a few other Torontonians and Bostonians.
The night life in Fort Lauderdale was also a lot of fun, and several of
the bars hold mostly-naked events such as Underwear Night and Towel Night.
If you have a chance, it's worth visiting that part of Florida.
