As of Friday July 28th, the Toolbox has cancelled all future naked events in their licensed bar, due to threats from the police. This includes upcoming naked barbeques on their patio, which is also licensed.
However, the events at the guest-house Muther's will be continuing; they are neither in a licensed area nor a public place, and so are not vulnerable to the same incorrect interpretation of the Liquor License Act that a few police men are using to shut down our naked events at the Barn, and now the Toolbox.

Well guys, our boys in blue (soon to be fascist black) are continuing to spread their own brand of cheer in the role of guardians of public morality! Tonight I was at the Toolbox for Naked Night. At 1 am., one of the owners, Matt, came on the PA system and announced that "As of NOW, Naked Nights at the Toolbox are cancelled." Mat went on the explain that the police had just been in and issued a warning that if the nudity did not stop they would be back to hassle him (I'm not sure those were the exact words used, but the implication was there). So... the battle lines continue to be expanded. Norm |
