As you may know, the Black Eagle tried to hold their first Naked Night since August 2000 on August 14, 2003. Unfortunately, that was the night of the huge power failure. We were upset about missing our event, so a few of us got naked on the street instead, but it wasn't the same. Church St was quite magical that night. There was an extraordinary calm, friendly vibe in the air, with just a touch of a carnival atmosphere. Most people carried candles and lanterns; few flashlights were being used. Many people placed candles around them as they sat beside the sidewalk; it was actually fairly well lit. While we had a great time that night, we were very disappointed about missing our naked night, and we are delighted to hear that the Black Eagle has decided to try again! This event is scheduled for September 18th, starting by special request at 9pm, to accommodate those of us who need to get up early for work the next day!
